BIOGRAPHY
Jake started his musical journey in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta in 2010. He has been writing and playing professionally ever since. His genuine, humble, “what you see is what you get” approach to music has earned him a spot on the Alberta music map. Playing stages at major Alberta events including The Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival, Wild Oats and Notes Music Festival and Wild Mountain Music Festival. His debut EP release Tavern (2013) was a success, with the single Tavern Down Below coming top three in an Alberta based singer songwriter competition.
Securing national radio play in Canada. After a long studio hiatus, Jake will be releasing his first Full length Album, Stand Your Ground in 2023. Jake’s years of stage experience and thousands of kilometers travelled are shining through in his new music. Backed by a collective of fantastic studio musicians and writers. His music is reaching new heights all the while not losing touch with its humble beginnings.
